Biography
The Sundowners are a five piece from The Wirral on the banks of the Mersey. They’re cooking up a musical melting pot of musical influences including Fleetwood Mac, Crosby Stills and Nash, The Byrds and Tom Petty. They’re taking their time, writing real songs, putting on great gigs and capturing an audience all around the country. The Nuclears'/The Bottom Dollars Split Single

In the middays of December as possibly the last winter solstice on earth approached packing only the bare necessity’s twinkies, dried fruit, nuts, candy bars, alcohol a few cans of sterno and a slew of equipment,  The Nuclears, The Bottom Dollars and the Queen of the scene Jet Girl Ky Digregorio exiled themselves to a studio mansion in Windham, NY to record a new split single. Baby I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down/Morning Thunder with the fabulously lushous, Briana of Brianna Layon and the Boys contributing soulful vocals.
The result is a deliciously Berry Gordy sounding track of ass shaking danceable rockin’ soul backed with a rippin’ hand clappin’ anthem rocker.

Bio:

Paige, Lindsay, Mikki and Liv all met at the Valley State Prison for Women in 1983. The veterans of over 1000 actual crimes, they were brought together by the power of song. They joined the prison's show choir eliminating the better singers and dancers through faked suicides and prison yard shankings, until they rose up the ranks to become the stars of the facility, serving as an inspiration to anyone looking for a second chance that they don't really deserve. In between their more mainstream gigs, the ladies still take time to perform at rest homes, schools and churches, as these places are often populated by the 'softer' elements of society and are therefore easy pickings. Prior to their incarceration and subsequent semi-rehabilitation, they came from diverse backgrounds and all walks of life. Paige was a gospel singer in Connecticut's only all-African American gospel choir. Lindsay spent several years posing as a transsexual MAC makeup consultant. Liv honed her shanking skills as a knife-thrower in several of the south's seedier traveling carnivals and Mikki was created spontaneously through a combination of chemicals. Their fifth and only invisible member, Mr. Pickles (who now goes by his Hebrew name "Luke") is a singing hamburger. When asked, "Why an invisible singing hamburger?", they responded, "Because if he wasn't invisible, we would have eaten him a long time ago." -Eric Filipkowski

"The feel Delta Saints were going for was that of a “funeral parade.” “I really like songs that evoke a certain emotion because of the music, but when you listen to the lyrics, you get an entirely different story. That’s what we tried to do on this song, the music is jubilant, and the words are dark. Ben Ringel (vocals/dobro), Dylan Fitch (guitar), David Supica (bass), and Ben Azzi (drums) each moved to Nashville for college in 2007 and first found common ground as old-world-loving, good-bourbon-swilling musicians. As the searing harmonica and howling vocals of their live show began garnering notoriety, The Saints rode their roots rock wave right into the studio. On the heels of 2009’s Pray On EP and 2010’s follow-up A Bird Called Angola, the band toured tirelessly, playing more than 150 shows a year, including a slot at Arkansas’ Wakarusa Festival and two summers headlining in Europe during which they performed on the long-running, renowned German TV show Rockpalast.
