Ben Tufts never slows down; when not on tour with Miss Shevaughn and Yuma Wray you’ll find him anchoring various musicians with his solid kit skills. His band Mud Rey was formed in 2011 from informal jam sessions between him and guitarist Bobby Thompson, Tony Moreno was brought on to complete the trio. Featuring gritty rock blues with raw abandonment and Bobby's soulful inflections, reminiscent of Paul Rodgers era Bad Company, their EP Lusi captures a rambunctious live energy that boogies from start to finish.
Release Party for the EP is Febuary 15th at IOTA. Arlington, Virginia
