Left Lane Cruiser Rolls Out A Primo Rocker NEW Album Dirty Spliff Blues

After nearly a decade of delivering their own high-octane, scuzzed-up take on North Mississippi rural blues as a duo, Left Lane Cruiser have recently expanded into a threesome for their latest studio album, Dirty Spliff Blues (their fifth for Alive Naturalsound Records). Left Lane Cruiser's Dirty Spliff Blues will be released on limited vinyl, CD and digital formats on June 16th via Alive Naturalsound Records.
Led by founding member Freddy J IV (aka Joe Evans) on vocals and slide guitar, and now joined by Joe Bent on bass and skateboard slide guitar (yes, he uses his skateboard as an instrument) and Pete Dio on drums & assorted other junk.

LCC rolls up a primo rocker on new album, Dirty Spliff Blues is diggity dang doodle, rock n roll for the noodle, Hard token, track after track it keeps on hitting. You don't have to be stoned, but you could easily rectify that.
Kicking out like a shotgun to the face with Tres Borrachos, a deep inhaler with chest-pounding beats, gasping riffs. kick back, Elephant Stomp feeling good, grooving fine  moving mild. spacing in the clouds. yeah baby it's the shake. lay them skins on me. roll another one. time for some Whitebread n' Beans, truckin on, got my mojo, places to go. clap with me baby. everything's fine. got all night.  Tangled Up in Bush getting down, beering up. riding wafts of spiffing riffs. a dose of Heavy Honey feeling lovely, want some sweets,  your twinkies looking good let me stay awhile got the Dirty Spliff Blues slow dancing hold that stash tight rocking hard all around. stems and seeds i'm Cutting Trees rolling hard All Damn Day grooving like lightning, getting down like thunder puff puff pass Skateboard Blues, cruising on high, lighting up the fat one howling at the world dirty spliff blues rocking me away. She Don't Care pass another joint, going out blazing, toking hard holding long she don't care dirty spliff blues gonna stay with me.

Exclusive Premiere> The Foresters NEW Single 'Machines' from upcoming album Sun Songs

We've long been following this band, the three brothers from Connecticut were founded in 2010 when they  were eleven, nine, and seven, When they made thier debut in 2013 at the Couch by Couchwest Festival, the staff appropriated them as their own and they lit up the festival as attendees far and wide sung their praise. Returning for the next three years they shared a continued growth and maturity with an enthusiastic audience, earning a coveted CXCW Blue Ribbon There is Hope for the Future Award.

The Foresters continue to deliver outstanding modern Rock n Roll, Building on the past with fresh ears, eyes and unbridled talent. Even at their age this will be the last time I reference them as a young band they've established themselves as a force to be reckoned with, in their home state, and beyond.
Seasoned, sophisticated music writing, mad musical skills they've plowed through pop, punk, rock and experimental on past records developing a style and sound uniquely their own.
Their NEW Album 'Sun Songs'  scheduled for worldwide release on July 21st finds the trio at the top of their game (so far) apparently they are only limited by their own imagination and drive.

The album is available for pre-order through the Dord Music Group and digitally via Bandcamp
The record release show on July 18th will be a celebration of all the hard work and creativity that went into making the album a reality. All proceeds from tickets sold will be donated directly to Lyric Hall, helping the venue continue to support the thriving New Haven arts community. In addition to The Foresters, the lineup features Connecticut Music Award “Best New Band” finalists, l o o m, and Batkhi Dahn. There will be advanced copies of the album and limited edition commemorative posters exclusively at the show. Anyone who wants the latest and greatest is invited join the party! Presale tickets, including a discounted bundle, are available now

The second single from the record 'Machine' drops tomorrow June 16th but I'm proud to be able to present it here for your listening pleasure.

'Machines', hard driven by thick bass, wickedly wild drum flourishes and tight harmonies and vocals, will have you bouncing in your seat, or Jimmie jumping up and down and singing along, a perfect summer blasting down the highway song. The ear-worm on this one is strong.

Theatrical scamp rock group Fable Cry NEW Dark and Dastardly Video “The Good Doctor”

Bonding over the whimsical, theatrical and comical and donning a variety of musical influences from Danny Elfman to Queen to Gogol Bordello, Fable Cry showcases their vaudevillian persona in all their music and performances. Thier NEW Album We'll Show You Where The Monsters Are”, drops at the end of August of which I am in the process of digesting now, this band has everything I dig covered, bizarre with a touch of Noir and edge of the seat attention-grabbing antics.

“The Good Doctor” is the 2nd single from the ensemble rock outfit, and the video is directed by Ryan Rehnborg and Zach Ferrin.
"The story of FRANKENSTEIN has been told and retold so many times, we wanted to do something that wasn’t tired yet.  We’ve always been huge fans of puppetry so I think a video like this has been a long time coming for us.  We’ve incorporated puppetry into our live shows, and made friends with loads of talented puppeteers from all over the country.  About a year ago, we met Mallory Kimbrell and Cassie Hamilton, of the “Sailors and Maidens” puppet duo here in Nashville, when we asked them to be apart of a vaudeville show we were putting on.  We met and instantly knew we needed to work together!  Now, one year later, we’ve done that and the results are MAD.  This video definitely marks the first of many collaborations we will do with them.

Originally founded by Zach Ferrin and his sister in 2010 who, together mastered guitar, violin, drums, accordion, glockenspiel, kazoo, banjo, ukulele, and cello, Fable Cry released their first full-length self-titled album in 2011. The band grew over the past several years to include members to play the aforementioned instruments: Joshua Dent (cello), Jo Cleary (violin/vocals), Scott Fernandez (bass), Rachel Gerlach (drums).  Together, they bonded over a love of the imaginative, theatrical, comical and whimsical creativity of Walt Disney, Charlie Chaplin and Tim Burton. Donning  a wide range of musical influences, including Danny Elfman, Foxy Shazam, Muse, Tom Waits, and Queen
