Jeremy Squires NEW Album When Will You Go

Jeremy Squires is a self-taught musician who had a love for music from an early age. He played in a few bands in the 90’s but after taking a break from music in 2001 he decided to focus on family life. The following years were a challenge as he had to deal as he fought his personal demons. However, he used music to turn his life around by originally writing poems which then turned into the music we hear on A Place to Hide (January 2012) and In the Dark (May 2012) his most recent EP, Central Nervous Station (January 2013) and singles "Ghostlike,” and "Oblivious"

On his new album 'When Will You Go' dropping November 9th Jeremy has continued in the same vein as his previous albums by playing all of the instruments, (guitars, harmonica, piano, keyboards, resonator and lap steel)  recording with a handheld recorder, mixing, and producing it all on his own. And, when asked why, Jeremy says,

“I wanted the feeling I had when writing and playing the songs to be authentic in the sound of the recordings.”

With help from Anna-Lynne Williams (Lotte Kestner) singing background vocals and Kalispell's and Field Report's Shane Leonard playing fiddle and organ, Jeremy is able to create songs that are haunting and ethereal exploring themes of death and the fear of losing loved ones.

"The album is a bit different than my previous recordings and has a darker, cleaner and more winter-like tone.  Writing and recording "When Will You Go..." was very therapeutic and I think people will be able to relate more to this album.  Even though it is extremely personal to me, I feel that it can be personal to everyone else as well." - Jeremy Squires
