Gumbo Variation is Norfolk, UK based band that specializes in a fantastic mixture of Psychedelic, Afro/Latin Jazz and Rock jam with influences from Frank Zappa, Grateful Dead, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Yes, Phish, Stanley Clarke, White Denim, Weather Report, Jethro Tull, Zun Zun Egui, Patto, The Allman Brothers Band, Tame Impala, Snarky Puppy, Cave Singers

Released yesterday Sept. 17 a collection of demos from the last year called "The Home Tapes", a live show from July, an improvised set with some guests called "Gomara" and our version of Frank Zappa's "Little Dots"! Sometime later in the year they're also putting out a short film showing how they recorded "Little Dots".
The music on this album was written, performed and recorded by Gumbo Variation at home between the summer of 2012 and the summer of 2013. Available for Name Your Price
