Austin's four piece Psych/Rock band White Denim announce release date 10/29/13 for new album 'Corsicana Lemonade' they started recording in Chicago at the Wilco Loft with Jeff Tweedy and Tom Schick at the top of the sessions, then built a space down in Austin at a house on a cliff overlooking Lake Travis, where they recorded the remaining tracks with local music legend Jim Vollentine.

“We wheeled-in a bunch of crazy ’50s gear and played from noon until 2 a.m. every day until the album was done,” recalls Petralli. “We played live together, doing takes as a whole. Whatever sounded best was what we stuck with.”

Their music draws influence from dub, psychedelic rock, blues, punk rock, progressive rock, soul, jazz, and experimental rock for a sound uniquely their own.

“It’s taken five records to make one that sounds the way we do onstage,” says James Petralli, vocalist/guitarist for White Denim.
