Recent friend of the blog Bryan Bruchman of BreakThruRadioTV sent a couple of rockin' New York bands my way to check out. pow wow! is the brainchild of the Eddie and Jeff Nazareno, brothers originally from the suburbs of northern New Jersey and currently based in Astoria, Queens.

'Don't Stop To Look' their debut full length features a collection of nifty catchy tunes with a fresh turtle wax sheen on their Lo-Fi basement roots.  With a touch of 60’s garage surf melodies and 80’s pop rock reminiscent of Elvis Costello and The Attractions, and a little mid 70’s Marc Bolan glam rock, vocal dexterity, strong songwriting and instrument proficiency abound on the album.
Recorded at Sabella Studios with vintage instruments and hand built amps and analog recording gear you can feel the fun that went into making this record.

Bio:
After performing as a duo and releasing a string of self produced DIY records, the band solidified their lineup comprised of bassist John-Paul Anthony, lead guitarist and co-vocalist Amanda Burdon, and drummer Sal Garro from Quiet Loudly. Amanda Burdon has recently departed the band to concentrate on her other project Crazy Pills.
